Bethell was established in Manchester in 1865, incorporated in 1925 and is today one of the UK’s leading independent construction businesses.

Operating nationally, Bethell employs around 200 staff directly, has an extensive network of specialist subcontractors and a substantial forward secure order book.

Group turnover for our latest financial year was £30 million, generated through two principal operations – Bethell Construction Limited and Bethell Rail Limited.

Our holistic approach incorporates design, infrastructure and enabling works as well as above the ground building.

More than half of our turnover is with public sector clients, including local authorities, the health and education sectors, Network Rail as well as water and other utility companies.
