Potato Wharf

This project involved the hard landscaping of the Public Realm areas around two new 8-storey apartment blocks in Castlefield, Manchester city centre.

Works undertaken included:

Extensive hard landscaping involving modular paving and bespoke natural stone paving including granite setts

The removal of existing hard surfaces and disposal off site

Soft landscaping including tree planting to create a shared community area for residents. 

Installation of surface drainage and channels

Installation of bespoke street furniture

Replacement of stone coping stones to adjacent canal

All works were compliant with DDA regulations.
