Sandon Dock Air Mixing
The works were undertaken in support of the expansion project scheduled for Shell Green and the upgrade of the Mersey Valley Pipeline system.
The works involved a 2 stage approach, with Shell Green being undertaken and commissioned prior to commencement of Sandon Dock. The works involved tank cleaning, removal of non-functional mixing hardware and installation of new compression, pipework and electrical facilities, complete with future proof PLC hardware and software systems. A total of 4 tanks with a combined capaciity of 9200m³ being refurbished consecutively under phase one work.
Phase 2 works moved to Sandon Dock with tank cleaning, removal of non-functional mixing hqardware and installation of new compression, pipework and electrical facilities, complete with futrutre proof PLC hardware and software systems forming the scope works. 4 tanks with a total combined capaciity 37200m³ being refurbished onsequetively under phase 2 works.
