The Bethell Group employs more than 250 people in its dedicated Rail Infrastructure business and works out of fully functioning regional offices in York, Rugby, Plymouth, London and West Calder, Scotland as well as Head Office in Manchester.  We specialise in Electrification and Plant, Civil Engineering, Design and Station Refurbishments for prestigious clients such as Network Rail, Babcock Rail, May Gurney, Colas Rail, Amey Rail, First Group, SYPTE and GMPTE.

Bethell Rail is one of the only contractors in the country to survey, design and install points heating, LV / HV Sub station and 25Kv Feeder works.  Our in-house team of hand-back track engineers are level 4 accredited up to 125 mph.  We provide all our own Contractors Responsible Engineers (CREs) who are well practiced in undertaking independent design checks (IDCs). They are all fully approved by Network Rail.

Our safety record is exemplary thanks to robust safety procedures and HSQE policies across the business.  These are constantly monitored and reviewed as we strive to become a tried and trusted rail infrastructure company.
