Formerly known as Bethell EDS Ltd, in September 2003 the Group made further equity investment into Bethell Power Services Ltd as a commitment to the long-term future of the company.

Bethell Power Services Ltd focuses on providing services to Electricity Supply Industry principally to the Distribution Network Operators (DNO's) such as United Utilities, Western Power, Yorkshire Electricity and Midlands Electricity. The services include: -

• Excavation, Cable-laying and Fault Repairs

• Substation Replacement, Renewal and Repair

• Low and High Voltage Cable Jointing

• Overhead Lines

• Gas and Multi Utility Work

Our expertise is unrivalled and ideally placed to support DNO's. In the last year the business has doubled in size and now has annualised sales approaching £30 million.. There is a national shortage of skilled people resources for certain key expertise and to ensure we can respond to client needs, we have increased investment in Training, Overhead Linesmen, SAP Engineers and Jointers. Through these programmes, our technical capability has increased and we now have one of the UK's largest professional holding of Senior Authorised Personnel, Jointers and Linesmen.

Our Management Team have considerable experience and will expand the business both in partnership with our existing clients and with new clients. They will also respond to new opportunities. Our Customer Services, Performance and Value is unsurpassed in the Industry and we have made substantial investment in equipment and most importantly, in Works Management and Financial Control Systems which are used continuously to optimise the Company's service.
