    A £0.7m project allowing the widening of the busy St Mary’s Way and Newbridge Lane junction in the Town Centre. Bethell carried out works as part of our strategic Alliance Partnership with Stockport MBC.

    Heaton Lane Retaining Wall was constructed for Stockport MBC as part of the wider Town Centre Access Plan (TCAP) scheme which is a 5 year scheme to open up access and remove pinch points within the Stockport town centre area.  The structure is over 100m in length and will comprise of a brick- faced contiguous piled retaining wall. The works took approximately 30 weeks and had a value of £700,000.
