Primarily this division provides maintenance and operational services for Sewerage Network Owners and Highway Authorities. Amongst its principal clients are United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Cumbria County Council, Fire Service, Local Authorities, as well as private sector clients. The division employs 20 staff and 150 operatives and has a 24-hour call-centre / control room to provide regular and emergency call-out within a 2-hour response time. The control centre has computer-based customer and works management system with vehicles controlled in real time by GPS location systems. This ensures high quality service and best value. The division also has term maintenance contracts for sewage pumping stations, ancillary equipment and highway gully emptying. We hold very specialist fleet and equipment which covers: -
The Division's reputation for engineering excellence is second to none and has the capability to respond to situations from the smallest blockage through to major sewer and highway collapses in the city centres. With in house resources of Process, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineers supported with CAD and IT, the division focuses on the needs of the Water Industry. This dedicated team provides feasibility studies, design, construction and commissioning of water and wastewater projects as well as total turnkey services. At the same time our experienced maintenance staff and operatives provide 'one-off' or term maintenance solutions, on a wide variety of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation contracts. Fluid Mixing Technology is an area of our specialism where we design, supply, install and commission equipment for our mixing systems. Through R & D we have achieved 'life value' technologies which helps us provide value engineering to clients.
