Bridge lift over the River Goyt

Carried out as part of the £73m Town Centre Access Plan programme with Stockport Council, Bethell are delivering the project which last week saw the installation of a 42 span bridge which provides a new walking and cycling route between Stockport Town Centre and the East of the borough.

The lift is one of the key milestones of the project as the bridge connects two of Stockport’s existing National Cycling Networks for the very first time.

Bethell Civil division are appointed to deliver access routes, abutments and footpaths associated with the bridge installation in Woodbank Park, Stockport.
