The overall dimensions of the building are 11.0m x 4.0m. Works below ground included excavation to 1.5m depth, design and installation of temporary shoring to support adjacent tracks, disposal of contaminated ground, reinforced concrete foundations including formation of cable entries and cable troughs. The superstructure works comprised of external cavity wall construction, internal walls, slate roof, installation of doors and louvres, decoration and low voltage electrical installation for power and lighting.

Other works beyond the footprint of the building included duct laying and new drainage works.
